My name is Gloria Shannon, I’m 23 and a RA suffer from Ireland. I love writing and creating and decided to start a blog about my struggles with my condition.
This is a blog for people who suffer from arthritis, or perhaps people who have a loved one who suffers. Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an invisible illness I have had since I was 15. It is part of my everyday life and will be a struggle I face until my dying days but I don’t see why it should stop be achieving any of my dreams or living my life. I see it as an obstacle I must overcome rather than a dead end.
I want to share my stories of good days, bad days and days in between, I hope to connect with other suffers who fell alone or like no one understands them. I would also love others to read this blog who have a partner, child, parent, co-worker who suffers from RA, just so they could have an insight into the our lives. It is hard to understand something you will hopefully never experience but hopefully reading this will make you see that they aren’t just excuses they are real life for us.
Thank you for taking the time to read my stories, I hope they help in even the smallest of ways, make you giggle, help you relate or realize your not alone. If this blog does just that then I feel I am succeeding in what I am trying to do here.
I would love to hear from you! I love feedback and I would be happy to answer any questions you have!
